Mission XII to Haiti

Archangel Airborne's Mission XII (AA-012) concluded successfully on 18 November 2013. The team launched from College Park Airport in the Maryland/DC area on 12 November and flew to Cap Haitien, Haiti to serve the impoverished community of Fort Saint Michele with the parish of Notre Dame D'Altagrace as a base of Medical Clinic Operations. A previously established water purification project was evaluated for operational integrity and a school food program for children was also reviewed. Reconnaissance of additional areas for operation was conducted successfully as well as meeting with the leadership of Sacra Couer Hospital in the norhern village of Milot with plans for additional utilization of the hospital for referrals and the potential development of air medevac services for critically ill and traumatically injured patients. The team included (2) ARCHANGEL AIRBORNE Aviators, (1) FNP, (1) MD, (2) RNs, (1) Translator.
