Mission 2, August 2010 Operation Les Cayes

Mission Team: Hirsch, Lovelace, Hibbert, Minucci, Bergamo, Sircar

Objectives: A few months later, we loaded up two aircraft with supplies and a team of eight, returning to Les Cayes, ready to get to work. Meeting with local government leaders, we crafted an agreement enabling us to continue to return to offer assistance to the people who were in great need of our help. We saw and treated patients, and established contact with Ile a Vache, an island of 15,000 residents, with no medical facilities at all.

Accomplishments: Met objectives, and also established liaison to Le a Vache, an island of 15,000 residents near Les Cayes with no medical facilities whatsoever
